Where Is It?

In the center of the state of Arkansas, along the Arkansas River where the Delta lowlands meet the hilly, wooded foothills of the Ouachita Mountains of western Arkansas. The region lies astride two Interstate Highway routes, I-30 and I-40, with easy access to the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Memphis, and Oklahoma City urban regions.

What Is It?

A four-county region that comprises the largest metropolitan area within the state of Arkansas, with a population of over one-half million and a diverse service-oriented economy.
